Whoa–the first day of the California State Science Fair is tomorrow! This meant that I spent the entire day working on source code documentation and packing for my trip.
I spent most of the morning putting together documentation CDs. This required copying all of my source code from the laptop that I used for coding onto a USB drive. Then, I commented and documented all of the source code. I ran Doxygen, a documentation generation program, on my commented source code and generated a website that described how my source code worked. I then copied this website onto the USB drive, organized the files into folders, and finally copied the contents of the USB drive onto a CD and then put a label on the CD.
The other part of the day was spent packing. I spent a large amount of time on the TSA and FAA websites trying to find out what the new procedures for bringing laptop computers on flights are. After learning the procedures for bringing a laptop on a flight, I packed the laptop and all of its peripherals. I then made sure that all of my homework was in my binder and packed it as well. I also prepared all of the other equipment to be packed. By the end of the day, I had everything packed into my rolling backpack.

This will be a great way for to keep up with the excitement of your trip! Good luck, Jonathan!!!

I just talked to Jonathon on the phone and everything is going fine there, he says. He mentioned that he may not be able to blog tonight due to a lack of free time, he also mentioned that he did not know if he could get Internet service down there.
